Can my employer break the contract?

Yes, an employer can do that. If your employer wants to break the agreement after the trial period, he or she must observe a notice period. This period depends on the duration of the contract.

If the duration of the contract is one month or less, the notice period is 3 days. If you entered into a contract of more than one month, the employer must respect a notice period of 7 days.

The cancellation will take effect on the first Monday following the week in which the employer informed you of his terminating the contract.
