Information about working as a student

The Student@work website provides information about working as a student. Who is a working student? How many hours can you work as a student? What does it mean for your pay, child benefits or taxes to work as a student? This site gives you the answers or helps you to find them.

Checking your quota

As a student you can work 600 hours per year at reduced social contributions. These 600 hours make up your quota.

From this website, you have quick access to the Student@work application which allows you to check how much you can still work at reduced social contributions.

Who is behind this?

This website and the Student@work application are an initiative of the National Social Security Office (NSSO).
